I’m a hunter. No I don’t shoot deer- I shoot guys with my high velocity airsoft rifle modified to 700fps. While the bullets really sting under heavy armor, it provides a great deal of fun because you know your prey will survive. (unless you shoot a guy’s unarmored head).
When I go on these airsoft sorties, the enemy really hates me because of my seeming sixth sense. I know where most guys are hiding. That, despite the dense foliage and underbrush. My secret?
I carry a Heatseeker.
Here’s what the baby looks like.
This toy provides a definite advantage. Remember the gadgets used in Aliens?
It works on the same principle. The device boasts a thermal heat sensor that is stable, accurate and durable for up to 300 yards! Using 2 built-in lasers help pinpoint heat sources, this cool gadget eliminates false readings. When I go hunting for guys, I simply wave the wand-like device in a sweeping motion. If there’s a guy hidden ahead, the LED bars jump, signifying a heat source. That’s when I start crawling silent as death itself and when I see the beady whites of his eyes, ratatatatatat!
I admit that my phenomenal kill rate in the playzone is attributable to this device. At just $137, it’s indispensable and downright as useful as my sidearm. I just hope not many guys buy one or there goes my tactical advantage

Just purchased one to play in Spain. Are you not afraid of getting bbs inside the lens/sensor area? I know a bit about thermal cameras and putting a clear plastic would most likely distort/eliminate the heat readings. Perhaps a black plastic would, ironically, work out… Or a tight plastic mesh?
