Fancy clocks for the Windows Sidebar not only come with Windows Vista, they come in all shapes and sizes- from outlandish to utterly zen.
Why not grab the most useful one there is?
Enter the Sphere Timer.
It’s a digital clock with an alarm, a countdown function, a lap timer, and more. You can use it as a stopwatch, a reminder, and a tool to show off to your friends that you while away the hours in military time (but AM/PM is also available). A small and good-looking gadget, it’s the damn best clock for the Sidebar thus far.

windows vista sidebar gadget review
no kidding!
I wish it also showed the date. That would make it complete in my opinion.
The “damn best” clock needs the best damned way to quit alarms that sometimes fail to pop up a stop button.
