There are research/development, fixed costs/overhead/insurance/payroll etc. I get sick of people these days blaming business for obtaining huge profits and ruining the world. Number 2, if the price is too high, the item is junk,and/or the customer service is poor people won't spend their money on this item and they will go out of business. It's called the free market. The only way this would be "sad" would be if our choices were limited and we were forced to buy and wear Philip Stein watches like we will be forced to accept government healthcare in a few short months.
