“EMF can give you cancer. ” With that battle cry, the store clerk at W&G
Watches at Singapore tried to sell me this fascinating watch with two dials. It looked like one of those chronos so popular on sportsmen’s wrists.
“It’s go hot chips that can shield your from EMF and your cellphone, “he continued, “you’ll rest better with it and have superior focus.”
While I admired the looks of the watch, he thrust a glossy brochure in my face. I read it.
Teslar Watches were named in honor of Nikola Tesla by inventor Andrija Puharich. In the late 1970’s, Puharich was researching the harmful effects of ELF (Extremely Low Frequency) waves on the body. He developed a Teslar chip which was installed in watches that you wear in order to protect people wherever they went.
The Teslar chip emits a frequency of 7.83 Hertz known as the Schumann Resonance. This is the frequency that the entire Earth’s magnetosphere resonates at. When we are in natural environments away from big cities, this is the predominant frequency which our body feels. It has a profound “healing” effect. When we go back to the city, there are many other frequencies that override this resonance putting our body into a more “chaotic” state of being.
By wearing the Teslar Watch, your body is benefiting from this healing frequency, and your system can more effectively rebuild and repair itself.
Fancy that, a watch that emits a frequency that reputedly makes you feel good and calms you down. It cost only $300 at the time and that placed it at a price tier lower than Tag Heur. I bought the watch for its looks
Leaving the store, the clerk yelled after me “You’ll feel great! That’s cutting edge technology you have there!”
Even after the sale, he was pushing its health benefits! So did it work?
The Great Teslar Scam
Okay, I admit: I bought the watch for its appearance. It was well made and put to shame any Casio or Tag I already owned. However, I did get curious and wanted to see whether the alleged health benefits would bless me.
I normally stress out at work because I’m surrounded by buzzing mainframes and the dull flourescent light overhead gave that ’sick building’ effect. By 5pm, I usually drive home with a splitting headache.
I bravely donned the watch the next day and charged into that swimming pool of EMF soup.
“What’s that?” my gorgeous officemate asked. I told her it was my last day to experience migraines. She smiled disbelievingly knowing that I habitually popped to mefanemic acid tabs by 6pm
Damn. She was right in her doubt. By 5pm, I felt as lousy as ever. And I forgot to bring my tablets.
Next day and all the rest of the days thereafter saw the same thing. Headaches. Stress. No focus.
The damn watched was great at looking pretty. But it held absolutely no power to ward off EMF. With or without the watch, I felt the same in that horrid office environment.
Dang.
Teslar: you’re the pits!

Till today this $@!&* company never refunded me for my watch. A fine example of the dark side of capitalism
The teslar looks nice. Too bad it doesn’t work as it should.
I’m glad you folks put up this writeup.
I love my watch. I have suffered for years with migraines. This watch in fact has made them less frequent and they are not as intense as before. I can actually say this works! I only take it off to shower! Sorry… am I allowed to say good things on here? Thanks so much for reading this…
ahh the famous teslar, well I dropped my $1000 watch on the carpet floor the numbers came unglued and floated around the face. Philip stein so graciously fixed this for free. Shouldnt have happened in the first place
If Philip Stein sent your watch back to you, open it up to see if it is actually TESLAR technology inside. If the chip is smooth it is FAKE. Also if the chip is black on one side, they have simply flipped the chip instead of replacing it. Philip Stein is using the TESLAR name without the TESLAR technology.
I bought a teslar watch a week ago and haven’t noticed a difference. I looked on the back and the chips did not say TESLAR. I can’t tell if the chips are bumpy or smooth. This website >> http://www.doyouhavearealteslar.blogspot.com says Philip Stein is scamming the public. My new watch does not say TESLAR on the chips. It does say it on the band though. Does anyone know how I can tell for sure whether I’ve been scammed? Thanks!
I heard they aren’t even using teslar chips in the Philip Stein watches anymore… does anyone know about that? is it true?
You haven’t exactly been scammed I don’t think. You still have a Philip Stein watch… it’s just not Teslar. Your watch probably has the new chip embedded in the back. The new chip is from a different company. I guess you will be able to tell if it works or not in a few weeks. If not, send it back and buy one of the few PS Teslar watches still available.
WOWOWOWOWOW! Philip Stein is a FRAUD.
They have completely backstabbed TESLAR and TESLAR fans. They are literally STEALING the Teslar reputation, FAKING the technology, ROBBING people of their hard-earned money (especially in this economy), LYING about their product, and SCREWING people who are searching for a positive influence in their life– just hoping this watch will make that difference. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE PEOPLE @ PHILIP STEIN
Did a little test last night: Got 2 new watches, one a real teslar and one with MFT. Only the teslar works. Anyone have contact information or a website for Teslar Inside Corp? I am returning the MFT watch!
I never understood why people scam people like this. Im not saying the watch does or does not work. Im saying the prices are what is a scam. Ive seen them from 1000 to 600 bucks and lowest around 200 bucks. Did you know they make microchips for pennies on the dollar, yes that means they are made literally for pennies, and sold way higher. All companies do it, but a teslar chip is just outrageous,,something so small for such a large price, and that is where the scam is. If they really wanted to help the world it would be way cheaper, but there in it for the money, not to help people. This is a simple sad truth about humanity and business it seems.
Steve,
I not saying whether or not Teslar and/or Philip Stein watches are good or not but I wanted to address your attitude towards business and pricing. You need a basic economics class. Number 1, just because something is small and the variable cost to produce a chip is “pennies” doesn’t mean that is the only cost involved. There are research/development, fixed costs/overhead/insurance/payroll etc. I get sick of people these days blaming business for obtaining huge profits and ruining the world. Number 2, if the price is too high, the item is junk,and/or the customer service is poor people won’t spend their money on this item and they will go out of business. It’s called the free market. The only way this would be “sad” would be if our choices were limited and we were forced to buy and wear Philip Stein watches like we will be forced to accept government healthcare in a few short months.
Merry Christmas
The Teslar Chip was designed by Andrija Puharich and manufactured by Teslar Inside Corporation (Now known as Teslar Tech http://www.teslartech.com)
This Teslar chip was present in pre 2008 Philip Stein Teslar watches but has been replaced by an entirely new module that is completely different to the old Teslar Chip. It remains to be seen whether the new module is effective as the chip designed by Andrija Puharich but many users have stated otherwise.
