with Proteus Biomedical. The innovation sports small chips implanted within the core and  these microchips transmit data via a shoulder-worn sensor. Through the data exchange, this technology allows the tracking and modification of drug regiment compliance. So far, compliance within the trial has improved by leaps and bounds, touching 80% from a mere 30% initially.
Let’s just hope that these chips dissolve nicely in the body. Otherwise the build up of silicon in your bloodstream might transform you into the Borg.
