Review: BlackHat Forums For The DarkSide Lovers

Wednesday 9 April 2008 @ 11:26 am

I must admit. Sometimes I’m lured by the Darkside of the Code… you know, where with a handful of bits and bytes, you can circumvent security systems, pull a few remote pranks… and maybe make a buck or two. In other words, blackhat seduces me.

If someone looks into my search history, he’d discover that I’ve been to quite a number of blackhat sites, forums and blogs. Most particularly, at BlackHatWorld. This place satisfies my fix for everything blackhat including search engine gaming, software cracking and social engineering. (Hey, I don’t do bad stuff, I just like to read about them. And get protected in the process). What makes this place special is that it’s got hundreds of members so there’s no way a dominant voice can scam you with tomfoolery. Continue Reading »

Lotsa Lotsa Links Via Tnx.net

Monday 25 February 2008 @ 8:31 pm

A webmaster can never have enough backlinks. The more you have, the higher your placement in search engine results. That translates into increased visitor traffic, eyeballs and off course- sales. So you want links.  Lots of links. Anyone who says otherwise is lying.

Last year, I stumbled on a thread in Digitalpoint forums where another text link ads advertising system expanded at the rate of a page a day. Called tnx.net,  the system assists site publishers in buying hundreds of unique text links from other websites within a day. The cost rice is amazingly low. Webmasters  may buy one text link to your domain for as low as one point. Tnx.net currently offers 100,000 points for $100. So, a hundred bucks you can get 100,000 inbound links pointing to your website. Whew, where can you get a deal like that? Continue Reading »

An Inside Review Of Wealthy Affiliates University – A Community Of Internet And Affiliate Marketers

Monday 18 February 2008 @ 10:41 pm

Do you desire financial freedom? Perhaps, like myself you do not wish to commute, cater to your company schedule and follow orders.

The most direct path to accomplish this major change in your life is to begin working online in the privacy of your home office. I do not have an office, I work out of a small breakfast nook in my little house.

In my pajamas, until noon, when I “feel like working”.

Actually, I love marketing and often spend my entire day in my nook learning, visiting with my peers and friends, having a grand time.

Life is good, life can be great with a strong desire, a moderate amount of persistence and an internet connection. Continue Reading »

Sneaky Digging Service for Your Blog

Monday 4 February 2008 @ 7:55 pm

With web 2.0 , social news sites have become marketing tools to traffic-loving bloggers.  Digg ranks among the most loved social news site because of its awesome power to surge traffic  when a post gets dugg by the hundreds. You obviously want to get dugg but , will you pay to get dugg? If yes, here are two companies that offer such service – UserSubmitter and SubvertandProfit.

The system works both ways. Users of digg can sign up and receive $0.50 for every story they Digg. Submitters will then pay $20 for every story plus $1 Digg desired.

Hmmmm.. think this service will get dugg?

Driven Nuts With Your 20000 Bookmarks?

Sunday 3 February 2008 @ 7:07 pm

I got over 2000 bookmarks (no joke!) arranged in scores of folders. I no longer know which is which and what leads where. I almost decided to delete the entire mish mash in one blow this weekend had I not stumbled across StartPix.

Startpix is an online service offering a novel method of bookmarking.  The free signup gets you a grid to store bookmarks in a graphical manner, using icons on a grid page to show websites instead of hohum lists. The icons can be dragged and dropped anywhere on the grid and spiced up with functional blocks that allow RSS feed and search boxes. This homepage can be set as your startpage so you can got to your fave sites soon as you start up your browser.

But there’s more! Continue Reading »

Adsense Finder Explodes Your Online Earnings

Sunday 27 January 2008 @ 6:26 pm

The AdSense Finder is a new Adwords system designed to funnel you more pay-per-click (PPC) visitor traffic for your website with reduced PPC cost and maximization your (ROI) from all your Google AdWords advertising campaign runs.

Quite recently, Google a released a feature entitled “site placement targeting” where AdWords advertisers can select where their ads can appear; it also helps them bid on cost per appearance. The good thing about site placement is that that target audience can be controlled by focusing on keywords with less competition. Adsense Finder provides you with a list of large sites that provide relevant traffic. It’s simply your job to weed out ideal sites to publish your ad where CPC is low (or where competition is scarcely present) Continue Reading »

Pagerank 7 in Nine Weeks!

Thursday 17 January 2008 @ 7:42 pm

Pagerank 7 is music to the ears of a webmaster. It often means higher SERPs, potentially more visitors and yep- massive revenues from link sales. Now, while the staff doesn’t officially endorse link sales, we can’t help but admit how that route often leads to online success. Imagine building a fortune simply with a popular site and selling $100 links on it. Per month!

Sites with less than PR5 don’t enjoy this liberty though. You can’t sell so many links on such weak sites. Now what if you aspire to sell links and you’re only PR0? Have no fear. Duncan Carver’s just got the thing for you.

Visit his online marketing website and check out the bannered headline:

“Discover How We Managed to Take a Completely New Website With NO Google Page Rank Value, To An Astonishing PR Value 7 In Just Under Nine Weeks…”

We were so intrugued so we just had to sign up months ago. I was pleasantly shocked by the outcome.

Let’s Hit The Ground Running!

Wednesday 16 January 2008 @ 3:05 am

pagerank102.jpgOkay. The 1st Quarter toolbar update’s ended and it looks like we failed to reclaim the PR5 laurel we held mid last year and lost in the bloody 2007 4th Quarter PR update. We’re languishing at PR3- perhaps due to the sudden fall of many high powered blogs that link to us.

Sigh. Iwebtool.com’s pagerank prediction’s gone haywire as well. The service ‘predicts’ we should be back at PR5 by now and yet it’s evident that no change will occur. Until April perhaps.

No matter. PR or no PR boost, we’re still here to give you boys and girls the most cutting reviews for 2008.

We’ll fly even higher!

Any of you folks still suffering from last year’s shakedown?

Google Pagerank Update Jan 2008

Sunday 13 January 2008 @ 10:27 am

Yep. It’s here again. While many webmasters watch it closely, I don’t really give a rat’s darn about the PR system anymore. What matters is SERPs- or search engine ranking position for critical search terms. After all, people find you through SERP, not PR.

Anyway, for those avid about PR, Hobo web gives some compelling insights that may help boost PR ranking for the next update which should mosey over by April. Continue Reading »

RSS Feeds for Fresh Content

Sunday 6 January 2008 @ 9:14 am

I’ve noticed many webmaster friends using RSS scripts like CARP and RSS Equalizer to run live feed into sites. This quickly creates perpetually updated content- something search engines love. Human visitors appreciate this as well since there’s always something new to read.

Be wary though. If your site consists of nothing but RSS feed and adsense ads, you risk getting deindexed from google. I know at least two who dropped to pagerank zero when Google penalized them for polluting the index with MFAs (made for adsense) sites.

How many of you still use RSS Equalizer as the sole content source? If you are, change your tact. You may end off isolated from the rest of the search community!

Links links and more links to you!

Friday 4 January 2008 @ 9:23 pm

SEO Experts have been getting more innovative in their rank enhancement services. Check out this cool SEO site. They manage a set of 180 professional blogs loaded with great product reviews. Now for a small fee, you can insert an advertorial of your own into their 180 strong network. Instant coverage and traffic for you!

I tried it on one of my sites and must say the money’s well spent. I got my ads plastered in but an hour.

If you’re after human traffic and a small SERP boost, this is for you

Backlinks for Cheap

Saturday 29 December 2007 @ 9:49 am

Everyone knows that search engine rankings depends more on inbound links than from the optimized content on your page. The amateur webmaster then turns to sites like TextLinkAds.com and Blogvertise.com for the necessary link juice- at a cost. Now, buying links at those sites can cost $30+ per month. With a large portfolio of websites, spending can easily hit $3000 a month. Is there a way to minimize cost for the same result?

Yes. Visiting Digital Point link sales, even the poorest webmaster can get advertising word out- for as low as $2 a link. Permanent ones at that!

Turning Your Blogpost into Passive Revenue

Sunday 23 December 2007 @ 5:49 pm

While this blog is monetized almost solely by Adsense, I oversee a small army of blog networks that generate tremendous amount of income. The average blog takes in $2000+ a month!

How’s this possible?

Not through text link ads- that could get you banned on google. No siree! Rather, these other blogs are monetized by reviewing high margin affiliate products managed by Clickbank and to a certain extent, Commission Junction.

It’s easy to generate the same if you’re already a high traffic blog. Convert visitors into cash simply by writing a review (positive or negative) of products Clickbank carries. Then embed an affiliate link their products (you’ll have to sign up). Then presto! When somebody likes your post and follows the link, you can earn up to 50% of the product price. How’s that sound?

Clickbank’s products often cost up to $149 so a single transaction nets you easly enough for an expensive movie-date.

I’d recommend Clickbank over Commission Junction any day since the latter offers up to 20% commissions only, but feel free to try out both.

Anyone here a Clickbank millionaire yet?
