Now I see a new scam. Called the acai berry cleanse,this forumulation targets women mostly, promising thin sexy abs in 14 days. It works by flushing out the fat.

I looked at the science behind it- and thousands of anecdotal evidence to conclude: the acai berry cleanse is a scam. It is no metabolic enhancer nor a fat cell receptor agonist  like alpha yohimbe. It isn’t a fat absorber like xenical or a cortisol control device like forskolin. None of its properties relate to fat loss. In fact, at best, it can make you sick to the stomach thereby suppressing your appetite. But that’s not gonna make you lose weight.

Don’t take my word for it though. Browse the web. Look at those reviews and the science of its chemicals. Behind the glossy ads, you’ll realize that acai berry won’t make you lose weight. It is a scam. Go for a good ole cup of coffee instead. That burns fats. As long as it isn’t mixed with gunk like cream

Remember back in 1990, stretching exercises were all the vogue. They promised to elongate the human body and make men taller. Then there were the human growth hormone pills and injections. At best these tools rendered little to no effect. Hence marketers seeking to cash in on the desire to get short men taller resorted to new innovations on an old idea: platform shoes.

On the internet, the biggest name in the game of elevator shoes is Tall Men Shoes. They make a lot of promises. But is it worth the cash?

To set the record straight, I’m a pretty tall guy. AT 6’3″, I can hold my own in any bar or meeting place. But hey, if I can rocket to 6’5″, why not? Perhaps that will get me the chance to date 7′ hot Swedes.

I tried two pairs of shoes from Tall Men Shoes on the promise that they would grant me a minimum 3″ of height PLUS feel comfortable.  I relied on the guarantee that these would feel no different from my usual Hush Puppies (which are so convenient, that I can actually run in these leather loafers for a mile without strain)

Okay, the first promise was met. I reached the height I wanted. Tall Men Shoes got me bumping into doorways. I loved the height. But there was a cost. They hurt. Hurt bad.

The human male is simply not designed to totter on high heels. There was cushioning within the shoes, but hot damn, these things placed tremendous strain on the arch because all the weight was transfered to the heel.

I walked for 10 minutes and could take it no long. My ankles felt like they would split.

Then I tried the other pair. Same banana.  Excruciating.

The company designed a beautful shoe using great leather. Unfortunately, they’re virtually unusable. Unless I walked on marshmallows with these shoes, I’d feel lightning strikes of pain.

I’m passing these shoes over. Definitely not god!

On some of those science sites, the HCG diet program is touted as such:

HCG is a hormone found in pregnant women that is believed to help reset the hypothalamus by sending signals that begin breaking down and using abnormally high body fat as a primary fuel source. HCG opens only the excess fat cells allowing excess fat to be burned. This happens no other place in the human body. Other diets often remove all fat cells evenly, which means we lose it in the places the body needs, as well as the places that aren’t necessary.

HCG targets excess fat cells first, which leaves the fat deposits we need for healthy metabolism and energy. HCG burns the excess fat cells taking the needed fat, and literally sculpting the body, helping it to lose those inches and pounds.

So what it is is a hormone in hot babes. Hot babes with hot flashes about to give birth. I do find it funny how the HCG diet program, whether in pills or injection form can benefit raging males with overflowing testosterone. So what I did was to quiz twenty guys about the HCG diet program. (heck, I wouldn’t use this on myself)

Out of the twenty guys I queried, ten say the Hcg diet helpd drop 2% body fat in one month. Nineteen of them say that sticking to the program of taking the drops ever three to four hours can be a hassle. Failure to take a session can severely nullify the effects.  Five of them say there was no effect whatsoever (the problem is, these five claimed to have bad diets). Another five admitted to losing 4% body fat but they frequently experienced nausea. One had to drink lots of potassium infused liquids at the end of the HCG diet cycle.

All in all, that sounds like a hit miss to me. True, the Hcg diet program appears to work beyond placebo, but its implementation appears sketchy. Who can take HCG drops every three hours. That’s a tough call for working executives.

I scoured the web and asked around for sources of this HCG diet. Not many. The average bodybuilding store won’t carry it. Some, like this HCG Diet site, carry the stuff, but be very assertive that you don’t want automatic rebilling (otherwise, they’ll resend you after 30 days). Check it out now if you’re interested.

Would I recommend the HCG diet? Nah, not really. I already have solid gains taking Sesamin oil and VCO. I’d rather take these healthy oils that shred off 10lbs in one month than injest women’s hormones into me. HCG Diet program is simply not for me.

I just bought the Taylormade 2011 Superfast Driver 2.0 at Sports Authority for 199 smackers. Cool deal huh? Headed  straight to my home course straight from the store to play 18.  Have to admit, almost peed my pants and smashed some cars enroute. I was that excited to play.

So I go straight to the first tee, no bucket of balls or a bunch of practice swings. Fore! Whew, kick ass shot.  First hole is 521 yard par 5, I hit a sexy little draw right down the middle,  right at the 200 yard maker. Wow!!! 330 yards right down the middle on my initial swing. I knock a 4 iron to about 20 feet from the target and scarcely shaved my eagle putt, tap in birdie. Replicated the same results many times later on.

Have to say, this Taylor Made Burner Superfast Driver is long and straight; I can smash  13 out 14 fairway with an balanced distance of 300 yards. My old Driver a Taylormade 500 also hits home but  only goes about 270 yards off the tee. With the new Superfast driver, I go farther and faster…. plus more accurately.

This being a virgin voyage with  this Superfast  Driver, I would say this is the best 199 bucks I ever spent on golf. The shaft is long,straight and even mis-hits go manageably. Always been a fan of Taylomade golf clubs, my whole bag is all Taylormade except for one Callaway  and my old Never Compromise Sub D3 putter.

Two days later, I lent the club to some other friends while waiting for my daughter. Watched them play (making sure they don’t damage it). The look on their faces was priceless. The results were like magic. Damn…they almost didn’t want to replace my Taylor Made Super Fast Driver.

I’m definitely coming back for future releases of this variant. Money well spent!

PS… the clerks selling these didn’t look like they were wearing tailor made outfits.

I’ve noticed my friends buzzing about Idebenone these days. My OLD friends.

Don’t buy this EFX Band. It’s only value lies in the fact that it can make you appear a tad tougher. If you want some health product that really works, get some vitamin pills. And perhaps some passive orgonite cubes.

There are many other fat loss products out there that claim to absorb fat the same way xenical does, unfortunately they’re not so effective. Have you tried Chitosan? What about Fat-Sorb? They’re useless. They do, however, shed the wallet quite effectively.

To date,  I’ve found a few compounds that provide the  fat loss punch of xenical, but without the side effects. Try Fish Oil. It’s cheap and 3 tabs a day for 3 months can drop some ten pounds. If you want it faster, check out Sesamin oil. It comes from sesame seeds and does the same thing… albeit faster.

Then there’s DCP that’s created by Genomyx. DCP stands for damage control protocol, a pill that’s based on an acid called TTA. This cool little chemical causes fat eaten to divert straight into the mitocondria to be burned, rather than stored in fat cells. There’s a lot of science and stuff around it but I don’t really care much for the explanation. I just know that ONE bottle that I bought of a local website dropped one pant size. And that’s without dieting or changing any of my current habits (but fyi, I do go to the gym 3x a week).

DCP is cheap too… half the price of several boxes of xenical. No side effects too.

If you’re after weightloss, google DCP. There are reputable vendors selling this effective cure for the bulge. It worked miracles for me!
