Only Desktops can handle those xtreme games. Right? WRONG. Now there’s a portable notebook with more muscle than the high end gamer box. Check out the The eX-L gaming laptop by Maingear. It’s a real monster is a beast, bragging a 3.06 GHz Core 2 Extreme X9100 processor, bristling with a couple of ATI GPUs, and a kickass 17″ display, hi-fi speakers and thumping subwoofers. Oh and drool at that 802.11n WiFi.
I’m betting the price will be monstrous as well. $4000? Maybe more than the average you’d pay for two Louis Vuittons
The look like the Daleks from the ole 1970 series. Only difference is that they wave their arms in friendly gesture and offer to clean your desktop at the push of the button. The Daleks of old use their pincers to emasculate you and clean your clock.
These cutsies come in three colors and vacuum up dirt, grime and split coffee rinds after a long days work. Price? Not too much (they’re not so intelligent anyway)- just $14.00 Great for a novelty and to have the office hottie stop over and make conversation.
Just make sure Dalek doesn’t run up her skirt!
The eeePC is everyone’s darling right now. It’s small, lasts for hours and is speedier than a core2duo on Vista. There’s only one problem. It’s plain vanilla. And being such bugged some fellas so much that they modded this baby to the max. Fancy a touch screen and bluetooth? Then check out this mod page of an uber powered up baby:

You’ll find step by step procedures that’d make your EEEPC look sexier than even a quadcore!
I love all-in-ones. They save space. And they’re great for lazy people who want an integrated panel for everything. Now,
Brother’s MFC-6490CW is one of those all-in-one color inkjet printer that delivers color printing, faxing, and scanning into a single impressive device, affording extra large printing as well. At a breathtakingly low $300 price tag you will really pinch the budget since you no longer need to visit print shoppes should you ever need 11″ x 17″ ledger prints. And this baby’s gone a long way since the weak all-in-ones as well. Each function could be standalone. Just check out those superb high speed scans of text that go beyondjust A4/letter sizes! Oh- and it’s wireless, compatible with 802.11b/g networks. You’ll set up home networks with this cool alligator in no time.

Back in the old days of Age of Empires I, we used to gather around 21 inch CRT monitors and duke it out
with lances and arrows. How glorious it was to relish GeForce4 graphics on monster monitors! That was also the time that early LCD monitors made an appearance. No gamer, however would touch those things. The first LCD monitors were slow and suffered ghosting and artifacts. Games simply didn’t play well back then.
Today, however, is a different story. Big name brands like Samsung, Acer and ViewSonic have released high performace LCDs for gaming. With LCD technology’s latest vivid color engines, amazing aspect ratios and hyperfast speeds, the most rabid gamer could throw the meanest game at his console and still enjoy crystalline quality. I personally tried the latest iterations of Halo and Resident Evil on a Quadcore connected to a Samsung and simply couldn’t get over the photorealism. Top notch! Continue Reading »
