Save Ink, Use Digital Pen

On the outside the The Z Pen doesn’t stand out. It can be used to write normally. But it’s got some techno bling. Once writing had been accomplished, you can then grab data from it and have the writing converted to text with OCR.

The Z Pen comes with a USB receiver that mounts near the paper paper. This receiver is responsible for digitizing the cursive you scribble on the paper. Once you finish what you are writing you then connect the USB receiver to your PC and software converts it all to text while ignoring the images.

The USB receiver comes with 1GB of storage space which can store tons of pages of content. A 1.2V NiMH battery powers the receiver and it is capable of being charged by USB. The pen is powered by regular button cell batteries which last for about 75 hours.
