I love all-in-ones. They save space. And they’re great for lazy people who want an integrated panel for everything. Now,
Brother’s MFC-6490CW is one of those all-in-one color inkjet printer that delivers color printing, faxing, and scanning into a single impressive device, affording extra large printing as well. At a breathtakingly low $300 price tag you will really pinch the budget since you no longer need to visit print shoppes should you ever need 11″ x 17″ ledger prints. And this baby’s gone a long way since the weak all-in-ones as well. Each function could be standalone. Just check out those superb high speed scans of text that go beyondjust A4/letter sizes! Oh- and it’s wireless, compatible with 802.11b/g networks. You’ll set up home networks with this cool alligator in no time.

If You’re Paranoid Of Pollution, This Will Save You
An egg tray that only holds five eggs and a dishwasher that doesn’t wash standard size plates are among a list of badly-designed household appliances currently on sale in the high street.
The hall of shame also featured a television which won’t turn off unless the plug is pulled out of the wall socket, a children’s outdoor slide – in bright yellow – which attracts thousands of bugs in summertime making it impossible for kids to play on and a washing machine that won’t wash cotton or synthetics at less than 60 degrees. SipGate Opens iPhone to Third Party Services
I love to travel and meet new people. I also enjoy immersing myself in new cultures in strange lands. Little can fire up my passions as much as exploring can- particularly if I’m armed with the best possible digital cameras. After all- it’s with the camera that I capture superb memories for all eternity!
The last PC magazine I read stated that at least 10 to 40 new camera models hit the street every day. Brands from Canon to those as obscure as Hywaei parade in showroom windows with banners screaming “New!”, “10.1 Megapixels!” , “Hypershot Technology!”. How do you sift through the buzzwords and marketing hype? It’s easy with online reviewers like yours truly, or a dedicated digtal camera review site. Continue Reading »
How To Capture Memories Perfectly
Back in the old days of Age of Empires I, we used to gather around 21 inch CRT monitors and duke it out
with lances and arrows. How glorious it was to relish GeForce4 graphics on monster monitors! That was also the time that early LCD monitors made an appearance. No gamer, however would touch those things. The first LCD monitors were slow and suffered ghosting and artifacts. Games simply didn’t play well back then.
Today, however, is a different story. Big name brands like Samsung, Acer and ViewSonic have released high performace LCDs for gaming. With LCD technology’s latest vivid color engines, amazing aspect ratios and hyperfast speeds, the most rabid gamer could throw the meanest game at his console and still enjoy crystalline quality. I personally tried the latest iterations of Halo and Resident Evil on a Quadcore connected to a Samsung and simply couldn’t get over the photorealism. Top notch! Continue Reading »
Got Game? Go LCD!
You know you’re anal about your iPhone when you clad it in crystal cases, clothe it in silicon condoms and
even swathe in in faux pas Louis Vuitton skin. Now Belkin (maker of famous gadget accessories) jumps into the fray with a really hip leather jacket just for the iPhone.
Starting at $29, the formed leather jackets for the iphone come in a multitude of styles and afford supreme protection. They’re thick enough to withstand a 2 foot drop and prevent scratches from daily use. There’s no visor for though screen , though. You’ll have to obtain one for full protection.
Personally I’d pick the basic black design. It’d go well with my Armani suit and my weekend biker’s garb. What about you fellas? What’s your poison?
You’re pumping to the beat. You’re grooving to the tunes. And you’re even gyrating your hips to the croons of Neo. But where’s the player?
Ah there it is! It’s tha little button on your chest!
Back in the 80′s people loved wearing those buttons with a pin. Some came with simple smilies, others had rather cute remarks- like “Im with Stupid. But Newman came up with a better idea: the Cool Man Mp3 player.
This neat gadget is as big as those smily buttons and actually hangs from a pin (see how light it is)! It’s disguised such that it resembles the coca cola logo. Controls are in easy locations so you can use it even without staring at its high tech screen. Continue Reading »
Fancy an Invisible Walkman?
If you’re searching for an island getaway this summer, the Philippines may be the right place for relaxing! Comprised of over 7,000 islands, the natural beauty of the Philippines offers many opportunities for beach-lounging and quiet summer sunsets. Keep reading for some highlights in this Philippines Tourism and Travel Guide.
The first thing you should know is that those 7,000 islands I mentioned are actually divided into three main areas: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. No matter the region, there are many options for getting around, including some green options such as pedicabs and tricycles! You can also see Jeepneys, which remind you of the history of this Southeast Asian country. The Jeepneys are modified Jeeps, leftover reminders of World War II. Oftentimes they are decorated in fun colors with chrome ornamentation. Continue Reading »
You Don’t Need The Carribean for a Dream Getaway
You all know aromatherapy. With the use of scents you can feel instantly relaxed- or ragingly libidous. Why wait until the spa to get your dose of of the happies? Now your PC can give you that instant high with USB-powered aromatherapy diffusers! It’s great for those places where carpets smell like soggy dogs or your officemate constantly forgets to brush his teeth after an Indian meal.
I gave this little toy a run and found that the scents last a week. After which you can replenish the canister. I’m hoping someone will come up with a hack for this thing so I can inject my own scents with a syringe. Imagine putting in pheromones into this thing. yeah baby- everyone would feel libidous around me! Continue Reading »
How My PC Makes Me High-Really High
Recently, my Core2Duo started slowing down. At first I thought it was a fragmentation issue so I ran Diskeeper to whip the disk into shape. No dice. Still slow. So I began uninstalling software that I rarely used. The PC still croaked along. So I instructed McAfee to start scanning for spyware and adware. Unfortunately, the scanner said I was out of subscription! There was no point scanning with this software when my virus defs were about 3 months out of date so I uninstalled it.
Et Voila! Suddenly my PC became lightning fast. Load times increased and shut down took 3 seconds. THREE SECONDS! Continue Reading »
