Vista Update Slams Activation Cracks

Thursday 28 February 2008 @ 8:31 pm

Microsoft Corp. has been lowering expectations about Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) since before it even confirmed there would be one. Numerous times, company executives and managers have told users and the press that Vista SP1 would not be like Windows XP SP2, the last desktop operating system service pack the company released.

“This is not about adding new features,” David Zipkin, a senior product manager for Windows Vista, told Computerworld last August, comparing SP1 to XP’s SP2, which was as much a new operating system as an update. Continue Reading »

Glucorell R – Weightloss without Sleepless Nights

Wednesday 27 February 2008 @ 6:36 pm

When I was younger, I took crap to help me lose weight. Heard of Hydroxycut? Xenadrine? These bottles of fat burning poison did nothing but land me in the hospital and got me nowhere near the “After” pictures they brainwashed me with in their slick ads. At first I thought I was the fluke. Maybe my genes were resistant to the ‘miraculous’ effects of ephedrine, mahuang  and other secret herbs and spices in the puke inducing Hydroxycut. I was wrong.  Googling “Hydroxycut crap” yields thousands of bedridden results.  Yep- people landed up in hospital beds just like me for taking expensive poison.

So I gave up on weightloss supplements for a bit. Who cares if I had slight lovehandles? At least I was alive! Continue Reading »

Lotsa Lotsa Links Via Tnx.net

Monday 25 February 2008 @ 8:31 pm

A webmaster can never have enough backlinks. The more you have, the higher your placement in search engine results. That translates into increased visitor traffic, eyeballs and off course- sales. So you want links.  Lots of links. Anyone who says otherwise is lying.

Last year, I stumbled on a thread in Digitalpoint forums where another text link ads advertising system expanded at the rate of a page a day. Called tnx.net,  the system assists site publishers in buying hundreds of unique text links from other websites within a day. The cost rice is amazingly low. Webmasters  may buy one text link to your domain for as low as one point. Tnx.net currently offers 100,000 points for $100. So, a hundred bucks you can get 100,000 inbound links pointing to your website. Whew, where can you get a deal like that? Continue Reading »

Is Google Profit Pump Worth $67?

Tuesday 19 February 2008 @ 10:36 pm

Each time a new promising product is launched, especially those related to affiliate marketing, there rises a demand for unbiased reviews. It’s the case  with the hot new product, Google Profit Pump. But as everybody knows these days, mots ‘unbiased’ reviews are written by sellers, with the only goal to sell as many copies as possible, so you can’t really trust those reviews.

Yesterday I stumbled upon a website claiming to provide the information of scams promoted to affiliate marketers; the author explicitly states that most ebooks and courses out there are scams, except the three he is promoting himself. Sigh… where’s the honesty these days?

So I’m going for another tact  (which hopefully will be supported by other senior internet marketing reviewers) and act from the opposite; I actually bought Google Profit Pump among the first to see what it is, what it is not, and why it’s getting more and more ‘unbiased’ reviews. Cool Residential Tanning Beds

Tuesday 19 February 2008 @ 10:32 pm

There are many reasons why people choose to buy a residential tanning bed rather than go to a salon. Maybe they are short on time and cannot get to the salon when it is open. Maybe they are self-conscious or maybe there is not a salon in a convenient distance of their home. Whatever the reason you want to make sure that you choose a good product that will last a long time. After all a tanning bed is a big investment.

Take your time and do some research before you invest in tanning equipment. The main considerations that you should take into account include: the cost, the amount of space it will take up, the number of bulbs the bed has, and the guarantee or warranty that is offered.

How do I find a tanning bed for me?

There are many resources available for finding the right tanning bed. For example, you could check the yellow pages to find local companies that sell tanning beds. This has the advantage that if anything goes wrong with the bed it is easy to contact the supplier. Continue Reading »

The Amazing Cyber Eye-Digital Surveillance Camera

Tuesday 19 February 2008 @ 10:29 pm

The cyber eye is one of the best covert surveillance cameras on the market today. The reason is relatively easy to understand-it has enormous flexibility and capability! This surveillance camera is a black and white digital with infrared sensors that allow pictures in complete darkness up to 10′ away. It has an 8 mm lens.

The cyber eye senses images and records and saves them to a non volatile memory so images cannot be lost in a power outage or when the unit is turned off. The unit can be set to take pictures at 1-60 second intervals for up to 680 frames.

The unit records images when someone moves in front of it then digitally stores the pictures for retrieval later by plugging the camera into a TV/VCR/DVR’s RCA input using the included cable. Easy enough? The unit automatically adds a date and time stamp to each picture. How cool is that! Continue Reading »
