When I was younger, I took crap to help me lose weight. Heard of Hydroxycut? Xenadrine? These bottles of fat burning poison did nothing but land me in the hospital and got me nowhere near the “After” pictures they brainwashed me with in their slick ads. At first I thought I was the fluke. Maybe my genes were resistant to the ‘miraculous’ effects of ephedrine, mahuang and other secret herbs and spices in the puke inducing Hydroxycut. I was wrong. Googling “Hydroxycut crap” yields thousands of bedridden results. Yep- people landed up in hospital beds just like me for taking expensive poison.
So I gave up on weightloss supplements for a bit. Who cares if I had slight lovehandles? At least I was alive!
Then last month I ran into an old chubby friend I lost touch with over the years. Only this time, he was ripped at the abs. I imagined all the workouts he went through and begged for his secret. Turns out he did mild cardio every other day and combined it with a supplement called Glucorell R. I was ready to dismiss it as crap. But it was hard, as proof was standing before me. He claims not modifying his diet at all. Just cardio and glucorell with meals. He explained that what this supplement did was to shuttle glucose and carbs straight into muscles for rapid burning. Ordinarily, excess carbs get stored as fat. Hmmm.. the theory sounds good.
So I did a quick search on the web and discovered a lot of positive feedback. Even googling “Glucorell crap” yielded no results- contrast that with “xenadrine crap” or “hydroxycut crap”. Thousands of results!
I’m buying a bottle today just to see for myself how well this works.
Have any of you tried Glucorell R yet?
